What is the source of these negative reviews?
I was very leery of bringing my CLS550 here due to the number of critical reviews. This is despite the fact that it is only a couple of minutes from my home and extremely convenient.
Worse customer service ever. Convenient location but poor customer service skills. Also overly expensive as compared to other automotive shops. Went to get an expection and they found an issue with the windshield wipers. They wanted to charge me $40 to change the wipers. Mind you there was nothing wrong with the wipers. This was also in addition to the inspection fee. I decline and went to Walmart where I paid $12 in change for them to change my wipers. They always try to oversell you things that you don't really need. I definitely will not be going back. On a side note, I was actually working with a general manager. Go figure.
Dishonest and greedy people. They tried to take advantage of the fact that my car was towed to their shop, by quoting an exorbitant number for the repair. After asking for a breakdown of the repair costs, I noticed that they were charging 5 times the regular price on each part needed for the repair. Their excuse for the ridiculous number on the quote was that it costs a lot of money to run their business. Now I understand why they had so many mechanics and empty bays than customers on location. Today, I found out that one of the parts that they quoted was good and did not need replacement.

They are not super friendly or polite but they don't try to do unnecessary service to get extra money from you. They are always fast. I rarely wait.
I have to say, I don't know where these negative reviews are from as they do not jive whatsoever with my experience. I found the service to be excellent, the price fair, and the communication outstanding. We will be coming back with our other vehicles in the future.
DO NOT TRUST! These guys are that worst kind of Mechanic's shop that you can not trust and will take advantage of your lack of knowledge. Every time we've gone in there (lately just to use up the silly Oil Change Pack we shouldn't have purchased) they've told us that we need thousands of $$ of work. The latest is struts and a leaky oil pan. I just had the struts done at the dealer 4K miles ago at it's 150K mile mark a couple of months ago. They use the "Leaking Oil Pan" claim on every car we take in there - multiple times now - the first time of which we paid our two different dealers for two different model cars to validate they were lying as there has never been a drop of oil on our clean driveway - Driver's Auto is lying ... DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I am very mechanical in nature and work on our own motorcycles as well as do a fair amount of non-electrical/computer related items on our cars, but when my wife comes home from that shop and tells me some of the ideas they are trying to plant in her mind thinking they can take advantage of her as a "woman" blows me away. STAY CLEAR!
