This hospital refused to treat me for pneumonia. I am now at a hospital that my insurance may not cover, because I was told my only 2 options were to come here or go home against medical advice. Didn't care that I could be stuck paying it off the rest of my life. And I had already gone through the emergency process and had an IV put in! Whatever Dr is responsible for refusing my treatment, I hope he pays dearly for this!!!
Only go to this place if your are literally dying. I went here for a fever because it’s listed on my insurance as preferred (in network). Well they did nothing but give me 2 tylenols, 4 bags of saline and perform an uneeded ultrasound (for a fever?) and then charged my insurance $10,000 and me $2,000! Absolute scam. Had I known I would have died at home. $2k for Tylenol. I will never go back to this place
I had a horrible experience last weekend spent a total of 2.5 hours waiting in the waiting area. Although they did run blood work and urine test while I waited, I wasn't seen by a doctor. They sent in a nurse to examine my stomach. Out of 3 hours spent in the er I got my pain medication 10 minutes before I was sent home. They didn't even bother to run any additional test I was in serious abdominal pain.
The Wound Center is fantastic. Words cannot even begin to describe the blessing of our primary care doctor's referral to Dr Jemison. After 10 weeks, of delayed healing of a surgical wound, the wound stopped draining and completely closed in less than 3 weeks. After the rate of healing had been only a mm or two weekly, it was so amazing to be able to clearly see daily improvement.
EMERGENCY ROOM REVIEW: Front desk employee was so unhelpful and a bitter betty (ugh!) BUT their intake was super quick and doctor was extremely helpful. We were in a room and seen by a doctor in less than 10 minutes. Glad we chose to come here.
