Stood in line at 0700. Store opens at 0800. Had all the necessary paperwork to renew my license and was done in 10 minutes. I was second in line by the way. No complaints. Fast service.

I arrived without all of the paperwork I needed and no idea what to even ask, but the staff here in the tax assessor's office helped me figure out what I would need to return the next day, helped me set up a plan to get all of the paperwork for my out of state move taken care of efficiently, and helped me figure out what my insurance company would need to get that taken care of as well. I generally hate bureaucracy but the employees at this location were helpful, efficient, and courteous so it was nowhere near as bad as it could have been.

I was there today to renew my license. EVERYONE was very friendly & helpful. It was organized & faster than I thought it would be. Curtis was the person that took all my info. He was so very personable & the over all experience was great! I was in & out in 30 mins.

If only I could give this place zero stars I would. We arrived for the driving test and the lady said she would get us in line early, well it wasn't worth it since my husband sat outside in his vehicle for an hour because the testing person was just chatting inside. Not sure what was more annoying sitting outside watching her through the window just chatting away or the fact that they didn't allow my husband to take the test. He had plenty of time to go around the corner to get the bulb for the 3 brake light in order to take the exam. They are rude and snotty because they feel like they have the upper hand! Go to Liberty office, it is far but the ladies there are very kind and respectful. Appointment was at 2:30 arrived an hour before and was seen right when he arrived, did not make him wait outside.

I wish someone (managers) would remind the few rude and unprofessional staff here and many other DPS facilities that the are on the job, still getting paid that they should try their best to provide adecuate customer service to people. We all have bad days at work but just because someone made you angry it shouldn't mean you have to be rude to everyone else everyday. People need to suck it up and make the best out of everyday work. Work is mostly what you make it and if you are unhappy then do us all a favor and find another job.
