Great concept that many other theatre are trying to replicate. Nice bar before you go into the main theatre. Food is good, not amazing but beats anything from a traditional snack bar.
Plenty of health code violations going on in the building. I've seen so many roaches crawling around the theatres, especially in the areas where the servers handle the food. Lots of cosmetic issues with the theatres as well. It looks like the building is falling apart. Management is also poor. This movie tavern location would be nice if it were managed better.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by "Matt" is what the young mans name tag said, He made me feel so welcomed to be there I have never been that respected by anyone that has worked there. He was well-mannered respectful and quite handsome. After the movie was over he even offered to fill up our popcorn bucket, which I was shocked because I have never been offered that in all my years of going to Movie tavern in humble. On top of that he even gave me and my kids a To-Go cup of water. Next time I go I pray he is there again made my experience 100% times better. Ya'll need more workers like Matt!
Definitely not what I expected. Movie was WAY to loud, but done so to drown out the background noise of people eating and shuffling around in their office chairs. We were interrupted FIVE times! Yes! Twice to take my plate. The first time was only 20 min into the movie and I didn't want to inhale it all at once, second time was 30 min later. Then we got interrupted twice for food/drinks that wasn't ours. Lastly, we were given our receipt which ended up being someone else's and we didn't know it until the movie was over because the theater is dark, but yet they hounded us for it. Then the lady couldn't understand why we needed to retrieve OUR receipt from her and not the one she handed us with someone else's card info.
If you want a nice experience out this is a good option.
My husband and I have been coming here since forever, and within time we’ve been getting more and more disappointed because the prices are going up and the portions are getting smaller. Some new waiters have been very rude... we love it here because we love having a dinner and a movie but we really don’t like the new changes :(
Most chairs are in good condition, we have had a few in rough condition but that's not the norm.
Parking can be hard to find.
